The amount of compensation claimed can and does vary greatly and depends
on your own personal circumstances and medical evidence. The majority range
from £1,500 to £10,000 and often substantially more. There are three
major factors that determine the size of the compensation:
1. The nature and extent of the injury:
2. The length of time it will take to recover from the injury;
3. Lost earnings and other expenses incurred which depend on the nature and extent of the injury and the time it takes to recover.
For the purpose of the claim for compensation a professional medical evaluation
is required. We will arrange for you to be seen by a Consultant near to
your home.
Once we establish the full nature of your injury and have a definite prognosis as to the likely period of recovery, together with full details of all the various ancillary losses, we shall then negotiate settlement of your claim with the Third Party Insurers. If we are not able to negotiate a satisfactory settlement then we shall advise you as to the possibility of issuing Court proceedings
